Actually, there *IS* a way to make the drop-down IE menu popup window successfully save/restore....
If your browser can't run the magic stuff that makes the new page appear,
The Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy *w/n save*
You have to have jre installed, and put this .java.policy in your default home directory.
Under Windows 2000, that would be: C:\Documents and Settings\(user)\
The supplied policy file only allows *this* website access, so verify it if you distrust me. :)
Under Windows 9.x, you may have to append the above .java.policy file to:
c:\Program Files\Java\
but you know it still supports Java applets, here are the links for a page without javascript
